Our North Shore Chef: Marie-Noël

We are pleased to introduce our Executive Chef, Marie-Noël Tremblay. It is with pride that we have entrusted the reins of the kitchen at Bistro Henri to a young, dynamic, and creative 31-year-old woman. Already equipped with a solid experience in the kitchen, she has concocted a menu that pays tribute to our local flavors. You will discover her genuine, gourmet and explosive cuisine that will charm you. As she loves to work with seasonal products, don’t be surprised to see a blackboard added to her seasonal menu. Through her dishes, you will appreciate all her talent, rigor, and passion she devotes to her art.

Who is Henri?

Son of the owners, Henri is a bubbly 6-year-old boy. Born in Bordeaux, France, he spent the first years of his life traveling between the landscapes of Europe and the horizons of Quebec. Endearing and energetic, he was quickly adopted by the people of the village: everyone knows Henri! Although our son has a language impairment, this is not an obstacle for him: he loves people and reaching out to meet them. Don’t be surprised to see him welcome you or lend a hand in the service, he is already training to take over one day! His adorable personality and sweet qualities are the great inspiration for the values we want to share with our inn and bistro. It was therefore only natural that the restaurant bear the name of our eldest.
